About Us

Inspired by the early church in the Book of Acts, we believe true discipleship happens in relationship. Our house churches are designed to be a place where you can grow in your relationship with God and others. We’re driven by our love for God and His command to go and make disciples. We want to teach others how to be a disciple of Jesus and become more like Him.

Our Mission.

The mission of “The House Church” is the Great Commission – to disciple the nations, starting with the Dewey area, making more disciple-makers to further God’s Kingdom.

Core Values

Continue to mature in Christ – the Head of His Body (Ephesians 4:15), loving God (Matthew 22:37) and putting Him first (Exodus 20:3).

Loving Christ is demonstrated by obedience to Him (John 14:15).

Striving to be in unity with Christ and one another, just like Christ is one with the Father (John 17:22-23).

Lovingly serve each other and our community (Matthew 22:39; 1 John 3:16).

Spread the good news of Jesus’ invitation to “Follow Me”; making disciples like He said and as He did (Matthew 28:18-20).

Church Of Churches

A small, close-knit community where you can be totally yourself, share your struggles, and get the spiritual support you need. Being a disciple isn’t about being a spectator. You have a mission – seeing your work, your neighborhood, and your life as a place to be a light for Christ.

Our Purpose

We’re David and Melissa Cleveland, and after 32 years of marriage and a lifetime in the Bartlesville area, God has called us to start a new kind of church. This isn’t just a place to attend; it’s a family where we live out our faith together. Our mission is simple yet profound, to make disciples who make more disciples, right here in the Dewey, Oklahoma area.

Vision

Motivated by love for God, we want to obey Jesus’ commandments, including His command to disciple the nations. Jesus led by example, so “The House Church” wants to disciple the way he discipled in an intimate setting. Our love for others creates a deep desire to teach others about Jesus’ call to be His disciples and to begin a transformational relationship with Him, becoming more like Him – holy like He is holy

As the house churches that are part of “The House” obey Jesus by making disciple-makers wherever they are, the Kingdom of God will then be advanced and spread to other places, as God sends them into His harvest field to disciple the nations.
